The Smutty Book Club is a community of romance readers who gather to read, talk, laugh, debate, and occasionally lose our collective minds over fictional people.
Hosted by The Smut Oracle, our monthly in-person meetings bring together readers with different tastes, different spice tolerances, and very strong opinions. The goal is not to agree on every book. In fact, some of our best conversations happen when we absolutely do not.
Each month features a theme and multiple book selections, giving readers options based on their interests and preferred spice level. Read one. Read them all. Show up having finished twelve pages because life happened. You are still welcome.”

Get groovy at the Boho Hippie Fest! Time to dust off your bell bottoms, deck yourself out in feathers and flowers, and get down with good vibrations. This family-friendly shindig is packed with live jam sessions, outta sight food trucks and off-the-hook performance artists. Jive with hula hoop dancers, catch some live glass blowing, shop more than 100 unique vendors and a sweet tie-dye station. Peace, love and happiness await!

Haywood County’s spring festival kicks off the growing season with new excitement each year as The “Whole Bloomin’ Thing” Spring Festival continues to grow. Get ready to chill and stroll through a winter wonderland at the Visit Haywood Ice Stroll! On Friday night of the Visit Haywood Ice Fest Weekend, Downtown Waynesville will come alive with enchanting ice sculptures lining the streets. As you wander, you will find local businesses keeping their doors open late, offering cozy treats to keep you fueled as you admire the frozen masterpieces. New this year is a “Chill Zone” where you can go and enjoy some tasty beverages “on the rocks” (or see us with the bus for some amazing non-alcoholic beverages!)
